Dirty Projections by Altitude Sickness - 2008

All Original Samples by The Dirty Projectors

This project was created entirely from samples of The Dirty Projectors. Ableton Live was used to cut and render the samples. These were performed using two Monome 40h kits, running a variation of Brian Crabtree's sample-manipulation program mlr (mlr_Aes mdb 0.4) and various MIDI patches in Max/MSP(including midi_bends). An M-Audio X-Session was used as well to control volume and effects parameters. Audio from mlr was sent to Live (via Soundflower), where the tracks were processed, mixed, and arranged. Audacity was used to master the audio.
